ABSTRACT
Pharmacy residents are especially vulnerable to burnout given the professional and personal stressors associated with postgraduate training. Residency programs need prioritize reduction strategies support resident health well-being. This commentary describes a resident-preceptor collaborative approach encourage wellness reduce within large residency program at an academic medical center. Strategies that have been utilized include (1) fostering collaboration among preceptors; (2) assessing interests needs ensure alignment; (3) leveraging available institutional community resources; (4) integrating initiatives existing structure. aims provide suggestions can be implemented address for other programs, regardless of resource availability.
