Rabbit breeding has many critical aspects related to reproduction, production, and animal welfare, which reduce its profitability as well consumer attractiveness.Dietary supplementation with n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) seems be a good nutritional strategy improve several of rabbit breeding, enhance welfare produce new functional food considered healthy for human consumption.For this reason, the main available scientific research regarding physiological effects PUFA rich products supplemented diet will reviewed.In particular, consequences on reproductive performances both doe buck, productive parameters, meat quality analysed.
