In a recent development, cohort of hepatologists has proposed altering the nomenclature non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) to metabolic-associated steatotic (MASLD), accompanied by modified diagnostic criteria. Our objective was investigate effect revised definition on identifying significant hepatic fibrosis.
