ABSTRACT
In this work, the nanoarchitectonics approach to synthesize a new functional material with certain configurations and hierarchical motifs of multifunctional initiators surface-initiated radical polymerization (MPIs) on surface multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) was realized. The presence covalently-linked MPIs surfaces amine functionalized MWCNTs confirmed by Raman spectroscopy thermal analysis. Nanocomposites polybutylene terephthalate – poly(tetramethylene oxide) (PBT/PTMO) modified show higher values Young's modulus, elongation at break, crystallization temperature in comparison non-modified ones.
