ABSTRACT
We compared electrocardiograms (ECGs) findings with one year difference between each other and without use of face mask at the moment to be tested. The first ECG was done before mask, second a later after 3 months mandatory for epidemiological COVID-19 pandemic justifications in healthy youth elite athletes. Regarding heart rate variability (HRV), an increase RMSSD recorded when test performed (M): 108.5 ± 90 ms vs. No (NM): 72.9 54.2 (p <0.002). And also SDNN, M: 86.2 47.2 NM: 65.9 43.5 <0.036). results on are consistent increasing predominance parasympathetic regulation, which is responsible regulation autonomic loop subject using mask.
