ABSTRACT
The CYP306a1 gene is a member of the Halloween genes in cytochrome P450 supergene family, which play an important regulatory role synthesis 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E) arthropods. In this study, we cloned full-length DNA sequence (Mn-CYP306a1) oriental river prawn Macrobrachium nipponense. encoded 600 amino acids, including typical CYP450 conserved domains. We detected expression Mn-CYP306a1 different tissues male and female M. nipponense by qRT-PCR. results showed that was highly expressed its respective gonadal (ovary testis). embryonic metamorphic developmental stages, trend appeared wave pattern, firstly rising gradually, with peaks appearing L1 gastrulation stage later at PL10 PL25 stages. RNA interference (RNAi) experiments have found dsRNA can effectively reduce content 20E molting frequency experimental group almost half control group. Moreover, body weight also significantly negatively affected late RNAi experiment. This study played promoting
