ABSTRACT
Experiments are conducted in a flume to study the motions and wake behind circular gravity cage under linear waves. The model is built with high-density polyethylene pipes nylon nets. Wave heights periods measured by wave gauges both upstream downstream. Supports used above fix connect model. It found that behaves differently short long relative motion between floating water surface large can be observed clearly how waves pass over collar. On other hand, collar just rides on without apparent motion. height reduced when cage, while reduction too small measured. effect of diameter, cross-section, bottom weight biofouling also studied. Generally speaking, larger heavier cages have greater impact
