PurposeThis study decodes the role of electrospun nanofibers in treatment VVC.Result7 out 8 included studies were basic research with vitro data and one them is showing vivo data. All articles showed mucoadhesive nature good tensile strength, drug absorption improved bioavailability, sustained release better therapeutic activity than other formulations.ConclusionNanofibers found as a potential carrier that overcomes constraints conventional formulations for delivery drugs vagina warranted an effective VVC.
