ABSTRACT
IntroductionLeptospirosis is a re-emergence of zoonotic disease with significant morbidity and mortality. As tropical country, there concerning trend leptospirosis infection in Malaysia. However, the epidemiological study remains scarce does not reflect current information. Therefore, aimed to describe its epidemiology within last 5-year state Negeri Sembilan.MethodsA cross-sectional was done using dataset from national electronic surveillance registry year 2018–2022. Descriptive statistics method applied build narrative infection. All data kept confidential abide Helsinki declaration.ResultsA total 1290 cases registered included analysis. Majority were adults' group (68.4 %), male Malay ethnicity (69.8 unemployed (56.7 rural area (54.4 %).
