Factors influencing the quality of life of women with rheumatoid arthritis in Indonesia

ABSTRACT
IntroductionRheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is one of the highest contributors to disabilities in world. RA causes both physical and mental problems, which can lead a worsening their quality life (QoL). To date, no study has evaluated factors associated with women RA, especially Indonesia.MethodologyThis was cross-sectional 90 who seek treatment an Allergy Immunology Outpatient Clinic, February-July 2022, using interviews, clinical laboratory examinations, medical record evaluations, 12-item QoL short form (SF-12). The results were analyzed Mann Whitney-U test for bivariate analysis linear regression multivariate.ResultsA significant relationship found monthly income (p=0.002) disease control (p=0.013) variables toward Physical Component Summary (PCS). Meanwhile, Mental (MCS), only (p=0.009). After adjustment multivariate analysis, continued have independent effect on PCS (p=0.003 p=0.01), also had MCS (p=0.001).ConclusionThe Indonesia good component but poor dimension. Monthly PCS.
