ABSTRACT
The immune system of skin develops in stages mice. However, the developmental dynamics cells human remains elusive. Here, we perform transcriptome profiling CD45+ hematopoietic fetal at an estimated gestational age 10–17 weeks by single-cell RNA sequencing. A total 13 cell types are identified. Skin macrophages show dynamic heterogeneity over course development. major shift lymphoid states occurs from first to second trimester that implies situ differentiation process. Gene expression analysis reveals a typical program accordance with their functional maturation, possibly involving metabolic reprogramming. Finally, identify transcription factors (TFs) potentially regulate cellular transitions comparing TFs and TF target gene networks.
