ABSTRACT
A detailed investigation of the nexus between economic growth and energy use is imperative for formulating sustainable development policies. In this study, we examine panel cointegration causality relations among growth, use, capital stock, labor in 30 Chinese provinces 2000–2019. We conduct a comprehensive empirical analysis based on modeling neoclassical production function. The findings second-generation unit root co-integration tests reveal that these variables have long-term linkages. then perform estimation using fully modified ordinary least squares technique find total consumption, electricity significantly influence at national regional levels China. Moreover, outcomes Dumitrescu-Hurlin test indicate existence two-way causal output consumption level, but only link from GDP to eastern central regions. Conversely, identified western region. Finally, provide policy implications both economy levels.
