ABSTRACT
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) technologies offer effective solutions to reduce the negative effects of crop pests while considering human and environmental health. However, disseminating these faces several barriers, with one most significant being lack farmer awareness regarding their availability, deployment, uptake. Digital tools are perceived as a new form leverage for overcoming barriers. This study analyzes current IPM digital potential boost farmers' deployment adoption technologies. From software engineering perspective, this aims emphasize critical functionalities limitations various dissemination tools. It provides valuable insights improve process streamline Through systematic search in Google, Scopus Web Science journal articles, over 32 were identified. The thoroughly assesses identifies 5 main hindering regular use, especially developing countries. Among inadequate representation developed countries, agroecological customization, insufficient offline functionalities. Building on findings, user-centered design is employed propose architecture novel Decision Support System (DSS) tailored farmers experts. comprises local database access, mapping engine data visualization, conversation module triangulation knowledge sharing, an agroecology technology recommendation based classification user's landscape. Drawing from review, identified limitations, proposed architecture, we illustrate how resulting DSS anticipated
