ABSTRACT
The incorporation of crushed glass as a substitute for natural aggregates in mortar and concrete represents positive impact on the manufacturing processes. use residues can lead to improvement certain properties sustainable construction products. In these cases, it is important analyse detail behaviour material verify possible applications at an industrial level contribute development new products solutions. This work studies mortars with recycled partial replacement aggregate against common accelerated decay tests, such salt crystallization, freezing thermal shock. influence basic physical mechanical has been evaluated by statistical analysis results, observing particularly significant resistance expansive action crystallization (>20%). alteration processes internal structure analysed ultrasound transmission tests its correlation Young's modulus. values obtained are range similar materials, having samples subjected test major degree deterioration. structures have studied scanning electron microscopy, greater homogeneity lower microcracking aggregate/paste interfaces grains.
