ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study is to utilize bibliometric analytical tools examine trends in research publications within hot spring metagenomics field. To achieve this, an in-depth exploration Scopus and Web Science (WoS) databases was undertaken recognize scholarly articles this domain that were published from 2005-2022. As a result, dataset consisting 377 obtained. VOSviewer, RStudio, MS Excel, Access utilized investigate annual publication trend, most productive journals, organizations/authors/countries, authorship citation patterns, cited documents/articles, co-occurrence keywords. According findings, initial article related 2005. At end 2010, number merely 27. However, since then, there has been significant rise yearly publications, post-2010, more than 20 have every year. countries with highest output field 2005 2022 United States, India, China, Japan. Montana State university, University Nevada, Pennsylvania University, Bigelow laboratory for ocean sciences all US active organizations working authors who citations, Ward M. having 1202 Bryant A. 1173, also greatest total link strength (TLS) 643 653, respectively. Around 11.40 % across various sources journals contributed by Frontiers Microbiology, which had publications. Bryant's article, 2007 journal, about phototrophic microbial mats alkaline siliceous springs, score 292 as 2022. This provides comprehensive overview landscape identify trends, knowledge gaps information could be used researchers, policymakers, other stakeholders make informed decisions future directions priorities metagenomics.
