ABSTRACT
Gastric cancer is one of the most common and clinically important diseases worldwide. The traditional Laeuren classification divides gastric into two histopathological subtypes: diffuse intestinal. Recent genomics research has led to development a new based on molecular characteristics. newly defined genomically stable (GS) subtype shares many cases with histopathologically type. In this study, we performed genetic profiling recurrently significantly mutated genes in type GS tumors. We observed different characteristics, although subtypes overlapped cases. addition, profiles genes, identified functions mutational signatures characteristic each subtype. These results will advance clinical application precision medicine for treating cancer.
