The Internet of Things (IoT) has been growing over the past few years due to its flexibility and ease use in real-time applications. IoT's foremost task is ensuring that there proper communication among different types applications devices, application layer protocols fulfill this necessity. However, as number grows, it necessary modify or enhance according specific IoT applications, allowing issues be addressed, such dynamic adaption network conditions interoperability. Recently, several have enhanced modified requirements. no existing survey articles focus on these protocols. In article, we traditional recent advances protocols, well relevant their adapted for improving performance. As changing nature each unrealistic, machine learning offers means making intelligent able adapt dynamically. context, providing open challenges drive a direction.
