ABSTRACT
Internet of Things (IoT) is a key technology trend that supports our digitalized society in applications such as smart countries and cities. In this study, we investigated the existing strategic themes, thematic evolution structure, challenges, potential research opportunities associated with IoT. For conducted Bibliometric Performance Network Analysis (BPNA), supplemented by an exhaustive Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Specifically, BPNA, software SciMAT was used to analyze 14,385 documents 30,381 keywords Web Science (WoS) database, which released between 2002 2019. The results revealed 31 clusters are classified according their importance development, conceptual structures presented, along performance analysis relationship other subthemes. structure described important cluster(s) over time. SLR, 23 were analyzed. SLR challenges limitations We expect will form basis future guide decision-making IoT supporting industries.
