ABSTRACT
The draft genome of Xylaria sp. isolate MSU_SB201401, causal agent taproot decline soybean in the southern U.S., is presented here. assembly was 56.7 Mb size with an L50 246. A total 10,880 putative protein-encoding genes were predicted, including 647 encoding carbohydrate-active enzymes and 1053 secreted proteins. This first a plant-pathogenic associated soybean. MSU_SB201401 will provide important resource for future experiments to determine molecular basis pathogenesis.
