ABSTRACT
Bacteriochlorophyll is the primary pigment in light-harvesting pigment-protein complexes (PPCs) of bacterial photosynthetic apparatus. 2D electronic spectroscopy (2DES) represents one most exploited and powerful techniques to characterize ultrafast relaxation dynamics PPCs, particular, assess presence coherent mechanisms during energy transport. The data reported this work associated research article, "Characterization bacteriochlorophyll a solution" [Meneghin et al., 2019] are an important contribution literature on can be useful interpretation motion more complex systems with (BChla) as basic unit. analysis provided allows identification vibrational coherences several Franck-Condon active modes characterization their frequencies dephasing times. Here we report additional measures that complement article support its main conclusions. In compare extracted from 2DES response Raman detected for BChla powders at cryogenic temperature resonant non-resonant conditions. Finally, show time-resolved fluorescence decay chromophore non-coherent discussed Ref. 2019].
