ABSTRACT
Pyrazine-decorated benzotriazole cores allow the orthogonal combination of two dipolar systems within a single molecule. A series this type derivatives was synthesized and their photophysical features were studied. The properties these compounds showed remarkable differences in function depending on substitution pyrazine ring core. Furthermore, two-photon absorption property (2PA) studied to determine structure-properties relationship for reported compounds. best dye achieved cross-section 1532 GM, which higher than values previously obtained similar D-π-A-π-D derivatives. TD-DFT calculations, supported experimental observations, indicating interaction between responsible enhancing 2 PA favoring bathochromic shifts.
