ABSTRACT
When there is a rupture in the meniscal roots or close to them, menisci suddenly and considerably reduce their capacity absorb axial mechanical load that passes through knee, quickly leading development of process chondral degeneration. The varus deformity lower limb (when axis crosses medial compartment knee) favors this type injury owing overload compartment. patient has both posterior root injury, clear indication for surgical realignment affected limb. There still not consensus regarding combining repair with corrective osteotomy, although tendency perform procedures aiming at long-term joint preservation. We present safe alternative technique simultaneous using lateral tibial transosseous tunnel associated valgus-producing high osteotomy homologous bone grafting, allowing full return daily activities sports.
