Ethics and governance are vital to the healthy sustainable development of artificial intelligence (AI). With long-term goal keeping AI beneficial human society, governments, research organizations, companies in China have published ethical guidelines principles for AI, launched projects develop technologies. This paper presents a survey these efforts highlights preliminary outcomes China. It also describes major challenges discusses future directions.
