ABSTRACT
Portal hypertension (PH) is the primary cause of severe complications associated with cirrhosis, such as hepatic encephalopathy, ascites, and gastroesophageal variceal bleeding. Measurement venous pressure gradient (HVPG) derived by subtracting free from wedged via catheterization right vein stands a well-established technique for assessing portal 1 . An HVPG equal to or exceeding 10 mm Hg denotes clinically significant (CSPH), serving pivotal parameter prognostication treatment response evaluation among patients 2 , 3 4 But it limited due invasive examination, cost implications, perceived risks, availability. Currently, several noninvasive techniques transient ultrasound elastography two-dimensional phase-contrast MRI are available imaging method detecting CSPH, but results still unsatisfactory 5 6 7 Thus, urgent explore new alternative CSPH diagnosis.
