ABSTRACT
Arachnoid cysts are benign, congenital, non-neoplastic, extra-axial-intra cerebrospinal fluid (CF) collection lesions. They often diagnosed incidentally during imaging examinations and usually asymptomatic. We present a case of subdural hygroma, secondary to an arachnoid cyst which had ruptured following minor head injury. This is rarely seen complication although it has previously been described in the literature.
