ABSTRACT
Energy management strategies that ensure energy supply and demand related policies investment decisions consider all feasible demand- supply-side options are consistent with global goals for sustainable development essential achieving universal access. In this study, the Open Source Spatial Electrification Toolkit (OnSSET) is tested against case study of Cameroon. The results show access to modern services in Cameroon requires prioritising investments grid densification, extension, modernisation, along distribution systems. It also found mini PV systems can play a significant role meeting Cameroon's electrification goals. total cost bringing electricity nearly 10 million Cameroonians who do not have it by 2035 estimated range between USD 7.8 billion 10.44 billion.
