The similarities between the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies’ standards for auricular acupuncture points and the European System of Auriculotherapy Points according to Nogier and Bahr

Basic and clinical research on auricular acupuncture points (AAPs) was performed in China, the United States, France Germany. Clinical point (AAP) done Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, UK, Holland, Japan, Russia, Africa. This paper is aimed at investigating similarities of WFAS standard European system AAPs according to Nogier Bahr. Similarities were analyzed from perspective name location points, taking standards World Federation Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS)-Auricular Acupuncture Point, Nogier/Bahr as a reference. The acupoints associated with locomotor system, including shoulder, wrist, elbow, finger, pelvis buttock, similar. reflexed gastrointestinal auricle, stomach, esophagus, duodenum, small intestine, large appendix, liver, gallbladder pancreas also similar, mapping for urogenital ureter, urinary bladder, prostate urethra. For head region, only eye similar but nervous temple, occiput, sub-cortex endocrine, locations An additional twenty-five sub-areas or named by anatomical name, can be listed internationally more widely acknowledged points. There are twenty-four sharing same locations, which share different parts body therapeutic effects.
