Peritraumatic dissociation is a risk factor for developing PTSD. The Dissociative Experiences Questionnaire (PDEQ) self-report inventory used to assess that occurred at the time of trauma. aim this study was validation PDEQ in French.Ninety French speaking traumatized victims presenting emergency department were recruited. They administered shortly after exposure and others trauma-related measures 2 weeks 1 month posttrauma.Principal components analyses suggested single solution PDEQ.
