ABSTRACT
The study of single bubble nucleation, growth and detachment processes has being carried out with remarkable relevance in the last fifty years. complexity associated phenomena are still a challenge for researchers field, yielding lot works trying to explain enrolled mechanisms. These studies include experimental, numerical even theoretical approaches. In particular but not exclusively approaches, it is essential importance having solid detailed experimental description full event. It this context that work emerges, proposing methodology characterizing process. This based determination "typical bubble" represents whole phenomena, providing reconstruction main life-cycle its uncertainty (both space time). allows several important characteristics, such as volume, apparent contact angle, dry radius, forces acting on bubble. analyzes set bubbles growing from cavity 91μm diameter, under saturated conditions at 0,583 bar superheating 25,8 °C. All outputs were obtained considering carefully propagation both systematic random sources, which negligible demonstrated work. sufficient number characterize phenomenon was also addressed, an analysis uncertainties different bubbles. confronted previous approaches reported elsewhere, ensured performance, robustness, validation.
