ABSTRACT
Climate change is profoundly affecting the activities in agricultural sector almost all regions of world. To adapt to prevailing climatic conditions has translated into a cascade risks for agro-ecosystems and production, ultimately impacting food security nutrition. Hence, study examines effect climate on production 32 sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries between 2005 2019 using Fixed Effects (FE) Two-Step System-Generalized Method Moments (GMM) estimation. Findings help better understand link resulting from adverse impacts as empirical analyses indicate that an increase (CO2 emissions) will result significant reduction SSA. This implies seems have significantly contributed challenges associated with insecurity region. Via changes average temperature rainfall patterns, could be exacerbating existing threats issues related SSA It therefore suggested mitigate negative policy makers should aim at encouraging adopting good adaptation approach, primarily stage supply.
