ABSTRACT
A study was carried out on the valorization of different waste plastics (HDPE, PP, PS and PE), their mixtures biomass/HDPE by means pyrolysis in line oxidative steam reforming. thermodynamic equilibrium simulation used for determining reforming data, whereas previous experimental results were considered setting volatile stream composition. The adequacy this tool validated using obtained plastics. effect most relevant process conditions, i.e., temperature, steam/plastic ratio equivalence ratio, have H2 production reaction enthalpy evaluated. Moreover, suitable conditions nature determined. are evidence potential interest novel route, as productions up to 25 wt% operating under autothermal conditions.
