Multimodality treatment of a primary vulvar melanoma in a low resource setting: A case report

ABSTRACT
Primary vulvar melanoma is a rare but highly aggressive malignant neoplasm accounting for 1-2 % of all and 5-10 cancers in females. Here we report case 32 years old female diagnosed with primary during the evaluation two cm growth inner labia minora on right side. She underwent wide local excision distal one urethra bilateral groin node dissection. The final histopathology was 1 out 15 nodes involved resected margins were free tumor. surgical stage T4bN1aM0 (8th AJCC TNM) IIIC (FIGO). received adjuvant radiotherapy followed by 17 cycles Pembrolizumab. To date, she both clinically radiologically disease progression-free survival 9 months.
