ABSTRACT
This study analyzes the impact of biomass energy, financial development, and economic growth on environmental quality using novel Fourier autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) approach annual data for period 1965–2018 in United States (USA). The related variables load capacity factor (LCF) as well indicators degradation such carbon dioxide emissions ecological footprint. LCF is one most comprehensive to date, encompassing both biocapacity In this regard, contributes economics literature by examining, first time, energy LCF. results cointegration test show that there only a long-run relationship between independent variables. According ARDL results, improves quality, while development has no effect Moreover, increase per capita income reduces Furthermore, since elasticity larger long run than short-run, Kuznets curve validated. Therefore, government should encourage use investment form energy.
