ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to evaluate the degree conversion and bond strength a commercial dental adhesive modified by incorporation quercetin, resveratrol (RES), Brazilian red propolis (BRP).BRP markers were identified using ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with diode array detector, antioxidant activity (AAO) three substances analyzed. Single Bond 2 (3M ESPE) adding BRP, RES, separately, at 20 μg/mL, 250 500 respectively. (DC) measured near-infrared spectroscopy 24 h after photopolymerization. Measurements resin-dentin microtensile (μTBS) carried out 1 day year. Student's t test ANOVA Tukey's used for data analysis (α = 0.05).The daidzein, liquiritigenin, pinobanksin, isoliquiritigenin, formononetin, pinocembrin, biochanin A found in ethanolic extract BRP. Quercetin, BRP showed high AAO. DC tested adhesives remained adequate category material, slight increase quercetin (P > 0.05). Comparisons between μTBS measurements made year that, contrary control group, values all maintained distilled water 0.05).These findings suggest that or might be useful dentistry help improve hybrid layer resistance.Dentin bonding agents have potential longevity composite restorations.
