Crab fattening widely practiced country meet export demand while supply for domestic consumption mainly dependent on wild sources. This work reported first time a comparative evaluation nutritional properties and mud crabs. For this purpose, proximate compositions were determined terms total contents protein, moisture, ash, lipid, minerals. Female crabs had highest levels protein (17.07 ± 1.52%) moisture (76.95 1.39%) content, percentages ash (4.9 1.03%) detected male Male also contained amounts minerals, especially calcium (1199.71 343.43 mg/100g) iron (14.21 1.28 mg/100g). female showed magnesium phosphorus, respectively. Additionally, calculated percentage recommended nutrient intake (RNI) value revealed that contributes 4.4-59.99%, 6.6-53.98%, 7.33-54.53% infants, adults, pregnant lactating women, The present study indicates balanced composition would be nutrient-rich excellent diet consumers.
