ABSTRACT
The paradoxical effects of cobalt in biological processes have caused controversy regarding the application cobalt-based biomaterials. Cobalt has recently been shown to be a trace element that promotes bone growth. Qingzhuan Dark Tea polysaccharides (TPS) biomaterial with antioxidant and immunomodulatory effects. In order develop novel biomaterial, we synthesized polysaccharide complex (TPS-Co) prevent while maintaining its beneficial effects, evaluated morphology, structure, activity. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction photoelectron spectroscopy demonstrated complexed successfully TPS. Scanning electron microscopy atomic mechanical TPS-Co more homogeneous concentrated morphological distribution compared Thermal performance analysis higher thermal stability. Atomic absorption showed content 3.8%. Ultraviolet indicated does not contain nucleic acids proteins. Antioxidant activity assays better than TPS concentration range 0.4-2 mg/mL. Proliferation assay MC3T3-E1 cells best cell proliferation effect at 2 ppm. Therefore, may potential applications regeneration.
