ABSTRACT
Corrosion is a major issue in every industrial system. As result of its widespread application, aluminum suffers enormous annual losses due to corrosion. Scientists are continually on the lookout for effective anti-corrosion strategies. may be reduced number ways, but many them harmful environment, so it's important find green alternative. inhibitors alloys can found tea and tulsi extract. In this research, we that alloy 1100 (Al-1100) ina 10% NaOH solution was inhibited by both Tulsi Samples AL submerged solutions with without an inhibitor total 25 days. The weight-loss technique used determine effectiveness inhibitor, extract far outperforming best efficiency 83.93% compared greatest 14.29% tea. After being inhibitory solution, surface developed adsorbed protective layer, which chemical adsorption, as seen FTIR (Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) spectroscopy. Green those present less corrosive confirmed SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) analysis. particles were coating over surfaces, determined EDS (Energy Dispersion testing. a10% Al-1100 more effectively extracts than extracts.
