ABSTRACT
Pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima) is a widely grown vegetable in Bangladesh and known as the sole supplier of various nutrients. Many studies evidence nutritional value flesh seed while peel, flower, leaves were reported scarcely with limited information. Therefore, study aimed to investigate composition antioxidant properties flesh, seed, leaves, flowers Cucurbita maxima. The had remarkable nutrients amino acids. Flowers possessed higher content minerals, phenols, flavonoids, carotenes, total activity. order IC50 (peel > flower) indicates DPPH radicals scavenging activity flower. Moreover, significant positive relationship was observed among these phytochemical constituents (TPC, TFC, TCC, TAA) It could be concluded that five parts pumpkin plant have an intense potency exigent component functional food or medicinal herbs.
