ABSTRACT
The clinical anteroposterior (AP) chest images taken with a mobile radiography system were analyzed in this study to utilize the exposure index (EI) as patient dose-monitoring tool. digital imaging and communications medicine header of 6048 data points exposed under 90 kVp 2.5 mAs extracted using Python for identifying distribution EI. Even same conditions, EI was 137.82-4924.38. To determine cause, effect patient's body shape on confirmed actual AP image binarized into 0 255-pixel values Python. As result, relationship between direct X-ray area image, higher EI, larger rate area. A conversion equation also derived infer entrance surface dose through based thickness. This possibility directly monitoring without dosimeter real-time. Therefore, use tool, derivation method considers several factors, such factors.
