ABSTRACT
Given that limited reports have described the survival and risk factors for elderly patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH), we aimed to develop a valid but simple prediction nomogram of HICH patients. All ≥65 years old who were diagnosed between January 2011 December 2019 identified. We performed least absolute shrinkage selection operator (Lasso) on Cox regression model R package glmnet. A concordance index was calculate discrimination; calibration curves decision graphically evaluated by depicting observed rates against probabilities predicted nomogram.A total 204 eligible analyzed, over 20 % population above age 80 (65-79 old, n = 161; 80+ 43). hematoma volume ≥13.64 cm3 associated higher 7-day mortality (OR 6.773, 95 CI 2.622-19.481; p < 0.001) 90-day 3.955, 1.611-10.090, 0.003). GCS score 13 15 at admission favorable outcome 0.025, 0.005-0.086; 0.033, 0.010-0.099; 0.001).Our models visualized accurate. Neurosurgeons could use them assess prognostic provide advice their relatives.
