ABSTRACT
Electrosurgical electrodes are the main dissecting devices widely used for surgeries throughout world. The present study aimed to evaluate thermal injury and safety within animals' organs following a minimally invasive electrosurgery technique with electrosurgical electrode AE40-300 (LIPO) AE20-80 (LIFT). To ensure effective application of in clinical environment, it is crucial minimize heat-induced nearby tissues. In this study, skin, liver, kidney, femoral muscle dissected from 9 minipigs were tissue spread experiments. Thermal imaging area analysis, maximum temperature, time reach basal temperature evaluated. Thermography results revealed that surgical was significantly lower (LIFT) compared predicate device. addition, created relatively small diffusion. Our indicated tested named reduced excessive could be applied use safely.
