BackgroundAge-sex specific trend analyses of ischemic heart disease (IHD)-related mortality and prevalent risk factors can improve our understanding approach to the disease.MethodsWe performed a 15-year retrospective epidemiological analysis acute chronic IHD-related cardiovascular using administrative data from Veneto, socio-economically homogeneous Italian region. Standard statistics underlying cause death (UCOD) deaths with any mention IHD in certificates (MCOD) ICD-10 codes I20-I25 was between 2008 2022.ResultsA total 134,327 reported deaths, representing 18.6% all deaths.
