ABSTRACT
Percutaneous mitral valve repair (PMVR) has evolved to be a standard procedure in suitable patients with regurgitation (MR) not accessible for open surgery. Here, we analyzed the influence of number and positioning clips implanted during on MR reduction analyzing also sub-collectives functional degenerative (DMR).We included 410 severe undergoing PMVR using MitraClip® System. were by TEE at beginning end procedure. To specify clip localization, sub-divided segment 2 into 3 sub-segments segmental classification valve. We found an enhanced predominantly DMR who received more than one clip. Implantation only led higher (FMR) comparison DMR. No significant differences concerning pressure gradients could observed regardless implanted. A deterioration half grade achieved was 6 months post-PMVR independent better stability FMR patients, got compared clip.In FMR, after stable increased clips, which suggests that this specific patient collective may benefit from clips.
