ABSTRACT
In this paper, a unique method for using thermoelectric generators (TEGs) to generate electricity is introduced, technique that makes use of cold oil tank and hot exhaust gases from generators. A set TEGs an integrated are connected the diesel generator as part suggested design. pertinent thermal modeling was designed thorough parametric study carried out show validity innovative concept. The has demonstrated when power thickness conductivity ratio each TEG in system increased, temperature differential module produced by assembly both exhibit linear increases. length plate height gas duct cause exponential increase across module. assembly's output increases linearly with surface decreases exponentially height. Using 0.05 m, 1 showed generation up 2778 W feasible under predetermined circumstances 125 kW. When compared conventional setup, new hybrid scenario may be able 2.22%.
