ABSTRACT
To analyze the clinical characteristics and outcomes of admitted patients with hospital- versus community-manifested COVID-19 to evaluate risk factors related mortality in first population.This retrospective cohort included consecutive adult COVID-19, hospitalized between March September 2020. The demographic data, characteristics, were extracted from medical records. Patients hospital-manifested (study group) those (control matched by propensity score model. Logistic regression models used verify for study group.Among 7,710 who had 7.2% developed symptoms while other reasons. a higher prevalence cancer (19.2% vs 10.8%) alcoholism (8.8% 2.8%) than also rate intensive care unit requirement (45.1% 35.2%), sepsis (23.8% 14.5%), death (35.8% 22.5%) (P <0.05 all). independently associated increased group increasing age, male sex, number comorbidities, cancer.Hospital-manifested was mortality. Increasing independent predictors among disease.
