ABSTRACT
Gastrointestinal perforation related to foreign body ingestion is uncommon. Surgical interventions aiming at removal of the offending agent and restoration bowel continuity are sought when perforations occur. Presentation case A 68 year old male presented with epigastric abdominal pain anorexia for 2 days. On examination, he was febrile had localized tenderness. Laboratory investigations revealed marked leucocytosis no other abnormalities. Computed tomography presence a penetrating through full thickness gastric wall its tip lying adjacent pancreatic head. Endoscopic trial extract successfully carried out. The defect sealed by applying an endoscopic metallic clip. Gastric secondary usually follow elusive clinical course rarely diagnosed early in course. Early diagnosis allows utilization minimally invasive management. Unfortunately, Most reported cases were after intra-abdominal processes, such as abscesses, have ensued. This illustrates importance gastrointestinal emphasizes role therapeutic endoscopy.
