ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION: Human Alveolar Echinococcosis -Alveolar Hydatid disease (AE) is an omitted zoonotic infection presenting with focal liver lesions.Cause of AE a larval stage Echinococcus multilocularis tapeworms.CASE PRESENTATION: In this report extraordinary case 38 year-old female examined due to 2 tumors and pulmonary nodules described.The patient underwent surgery for suspected advanced cholangiocellular carcinoma surprisingly was found.DISCUSSION: Distinguishing intrahepatic from other lesion can be complicated in many cases diagnosed incorrectly as cholangiocarcinoma or malignancy.CONCLUSION: rare but potentially fatal parasitic primarily affecting liver, although it metastasise lung, brain organs.The diagnosis treatment difficult clinical misinterpretation malignancy not rare.The principal accompanied chemotherapy.
