ABSTRACT
Paraganglioma of the urinary bladder is unusual and reported rarely. The patient usually presents with complaint hematuria fluctuating blood pressure. We discuss case a 21-year old male, who had been experiencing gross hematuria, was found to have mass on ultrasonography. Further evaluation contrast-enhanced computerized tomography (CECT) revealed an irregular soft tissue density endophytic arising from left posterior wall bladder. histopathological examination excised suggestive tumor neural origin, which further confirmed as paraganglioma by immunohistochemistry.Imaging prior surgery must be done for provisional diagnosis avoid pressure during elective surgery. On cells are arranged in nest like fashion forming specific 'Zellballen' pattern. Positive staining synaptophysin chromogranin immunohistochemistry confirms diagnosis. It difficult diagnose aid imaging only, particularly if without symptoms pressure. So, multidisciplinary approach essential proper therapy this entity. However, prompt surgical resection mainstay treatment.
