ABSTRACT
The mortality rate of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) has improved dramatically because reperfusion therapy during the last 40 years; however, recent temporal trends for AMI have not been fully clarified in Japan. The purpose this study was to elucidate temporary trend in-hospital and treatment decade Tokyo Metropolitan area.We enrolled 30,553 patients from Cardiovascular Care Unit Network Registry, diagnosed with 2007 2016, as part an ongoing, multicenter, cohort study. We analyzed basic characteristics, treatment, AMI.The overall emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) significantly increased (P < 0.001). In particular, it remarkably older than 80 years age (58.3% 70.3%, P 0.001) Killip III or IV (Killip III, 46.9% 65.7%; IV, 65.2% 76.6%, 0.001 both). crude age-adjusted remained low (5.2% 8.2% 3.4% 5.5%, respectively) decreased (17.3% 12.7%, those cardiogenic shock (38.5% 27.3%, 0.001).This large revealed that increase over decade, particularly high-risk such shock.
