ABSTRACT
Nanotechnology has reached to almost every sector and amazed the world by offering various potential applications in these sectors. Since nanostructure materials have been known for their unique physical chemical properties enhanced performance, hence preferred over macrostructure counterparts. Food industry is one of areas which nanotechnology transformed way preserving, processing, testing packaging foods. based advanced made it possible transport food items safely without spoiling taste, nutrition quality. Moreover, also prevents contamination sustains mechanical, physiological, items. Various nanomaterials used provide improved, active, bio-based, smart/intelligent packaging. Smart/intelligent ensures safety detecting contamination, gases, moisture, temperature other parameters means sensors. On hand, bio-based employs biodegradable biocompatible material place conventional plastic protection from any kind spoilage. Although, more efforts are needed resolve cost property related issues materials. There many studies available on nanopackaging such as active intelligent but only a few focused Bio-based next generation that encourages use natural polymers instead plastics.
